MUST (the University Museum of Earth Sciences) was created from the merger of the three historical museums of Geology, Mineralogy and Paleontology of Sapienza University of Rome, currently under renovation.
At the moment the first space - about 480 m2 -
is fully available for experiencing a temporary exhibition entitled “Earth: what a surprise!” which summarizes the geological history of our planet and the life that has developed there.
For the “Researchers' Night 2020” initiative, I created with the Sapienza Museum Pole, the virtual tour of this temporary exhibition, especially responding to the remote dissemination needs created by the Covid19 pandemic by making the exhibition accessible.
Thanks to the creation of digital content such as 3D models, videos and interviews, the virtual tour is a true immersive multimedia visit, as well as an archival document when the exhibition is dismantled.
