The harbor and sanctuary of Pyrgi (Santa Severa, RM) played a fundamentally important role in the history of the ancient Mediterranean, representing the projection on the sea of the metropolis Caere (present-day Cerveteri), one of the most important Etruscan cities that derived its wealth from the control of maritime traffic (540 B.C.) and where a large number of important artifacts have been found, including the presented Lekythos Attica.
The 3-D model of the Lekythos, made by photogrammetry was later processed to highlight the figures imprinted on it, such as to allow inclusive educational workshops, even for the visually impaired.
The work was carried out for the winning project of the University's funding for Initiating Third Mission projects, as a Research Fellow at the Polo Museale Sapienza.
