In the municipality of Rocca di Cave (Rome, Italy) there is an incredible path on which numerous fossil cliffs emerge, containing a huge quantity of invertebrates from various periods.
As part of a broader project "PLANET - Rocca di Cave: PaLeontology and Astronomy for the Rocca di Cave area", models of four outcrops and a small collection of individual fossils were created using the close-range photogrammetry, to be kept as an instrument educational for the activities that were carried out at the "Ardito Desio" geopaleontological museum.
Models have been produced for the Associazione Giovanile Cultura in Pratica and have been financed under the project PLANET-ROCCA DI CAVE:PALEONTOLOGY AND ASTRONOMY FOR THE TERRITORY OF ROCCA DI CAVE (CUP F89J20002400002) approved by the Determination of the Regional Directorate for Culture, Youth Policies and Creative Lazio no. D.D. no. G05779 of 17/05/2021 (D.G.R. no. 677/2019, D.G.R.635 of 29/9/2020, D.G.R. 910 of 3/12/2019, D.D. G02188 of 2/3/2020).
